Mixed Media with Resin, 12 Quartz Points, Small Tumbled Moonstone

Prospero is a small moon of Uranus and the 2nd piece in my moon series named after moons in our solar system. All of Uranus’s moons actually have names derived from characters in the works of William Shakespeare and Alexander Pope. This moon is titled after a magic-wielding individual from Shakespeare’s play “The Tempest” because it resonated with the magical feeling of this piece. It’s sure to add magic to any space!

Prospero will be viewable in person as part of ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, MI the Waters Center in downtown Grand Rapids!

This year’s Art Prize takes place from September 18th to October 4th. Viewing hours are M-Th 5pm to 8pm, Fri & Sat 12pm to 8pm, and Sunday 12pm to 6pm.
